Help within the Program
In the program, you can access the documentation directly in the help window. Double click on a command or press F1.
In the help window, you can
- read the documentation to the functions and commands of EMT and Maxima,
- search through the help sections of the help window,
- get help on some basic topics,
- get help on the help window.
Basic Topics
The help sections for the basic topics are available as an HTML export too.
More Help
There is a Search link on each page of the documentation. The search is performed by Google and yields pages where the search string appears. It looks at the documentation, the tutorials and the examples.
Also, have a look at the status line. It provides information on the commands currently available, and of the parameters of the current command.
